Woodhouse 100 secures U17 Girls first win

Emily Woodhouse scored a 127 against Cambridgeshire to secure Norfolk U17 Girls their first win of the season. Her 127 included 19 boundaries. Norfolk notched up 228 for 2 from their 45 overs. The home side were never in the hunt after a tight opening spell from Amie Hutchison and Amber Tirimanna restricted Cambs to just 21 from the first 12 overs. It was left to Grace Spenceley 3 for 27 and Emily Reay 4 for 21 to leave the Cambs batting in tatters at 63 for 7; they were finally dismissed for 126 in the 37th over


Norfolk U17 Girls continued their good form with an 8 wicket win against Cambridgeshire.

Cambs won the toss and decided to bat and they were soon in trouble, the main destroyer was Lauren Hemp with a devastating spell of 9 overs for 15 runs and 5 wickets. Only the Cambs last pair showed any real resistance by putting on 63 for the last wicket and they were all out for 103.

Norfolk cruised to victory in the 29th over with opener Chloe Dhesi carrying her bat for 51 not out, she was well supported at the end by Alice Mac Laughlin 12 not out.
