ECB Small Grants 2019 Now Open for Applications

ECB Small Grants 2019, supporting 'Get The Game On'

The Norfolk Cricket Board are pleased to announce that Affiliated Clubs in Norfolk are now able to apply for a share of funding for cricket covers and water removal equipment. The ECB Small Grants scheme opens to clubs on Monday 1st April 2019 and closes on Tuesday 30th April 2019.

**NOTE THAT THE CLOSING DATE IS NOW EARLIER THAN ORIGINALLY ADVERTISED AND HAS BEEN SET BY NCB**

(This is due to the small grant allocation this year for this scheme, and also an attempt to try to get funds to successful clubs early in the season to facilitate projects taking place when they are needed)

There are full guidance notes and an application form available for clubs to download below, but some key points to note are:

- Clubs that received a grant from this scheme under the 'Get The Game On' element (ie covers) in 2018 are not able to apply in 2019.Clubs that applied for other items in 2018 can apply to this fund in 2019.

- Please see the guidance notes for full details of what can be supported. In 2019 the parameters are very specific in that clubs can only receive funding for projects involving pitch covers and water removal equipment.

- Clubs must contribute a minimum of 10% of the project cost

- The minimum grant award is £1000 (with the 10% contribution this means that the minimum project cost of £1,111)

- The maximum award is £4,000

- All applications should be sent to the Norfolk Cricket Board, and NOT the ECB

- NCB will make the final decisions on awards to be recommended to ECB. Your club may be offered an award that is less than the amount requested, depending on demand and the strength of your application.

- Please try to ensure your application is clear and includes all relevant quotations

Deadline for Applications: Tuesday 30th April 2019

The process can be very competitive. Therefore please try to make your application as strong and clear as possible to maximise the chance of success.

Any questions should be directed to Kieron Tuck, NCB Development Director.
