Game 1: Fred Nicholson 247/1 ( net 242 ) beat Sidestrand Hall 219 / 8 ( net 179 ) by 63 runs
Game 2: Fred Nicholson 216 / 3 ( net 201 ) beat Sidestrand Hall 200 / 4 ( net 180 ) by 21 runs
Game 3: Sidestrand Hall 199 / 2 ( net 189 ) beat Fred Nicholson 175 / 4 ( net 155 ) by 24 runs

Fred Nicholson won this event for the first time by 2 matches to 1 in a triangular series. Both schools had received coaching from NCB coaches in the run up to the event and it showed with the standard of general play which does continue to improve year on year.

Clare School 126 / 7 beat Harford Manor 116 / 11 by 11 runs
John Grant 242 / 1 beat Sheringham Woodfields 160 / 10 by 82 runs

Round 2 Fixtures:

Sheringham Woodfields 175 / 4 beat Harford Manor 138 / 7 by 37 runs
John Grant 235 / 3 beat The Clare School 158 / 10 by 77 runs

Round 3 Fixtures:
John Grant 196 / 4 beat Harford Manor 153 / 7 by 43 runs
Sheringham Woodfields 167 / 3 beat The Clare School 134 / 4 by 33 runs

Many congratulations to John Grant who were worthy winners for the second year running winning all three of their matches with Sheringham Woodfields runners up, and in the medals for the first time ever in this competition.  All schools received coaching in the run up to the event from NCB coaches as part of the Chance to Shine programme.

Well played to all those who took part in what is now one of the highlights of our winter schools programme.
