Norfolk Cricket Board Cricket For Teachers Course 2019

Norfolk Cricket Board have scheduled two ECB Cricket For Teachers courses, for primary and secondary school teachers, in Norfolk this March. The course is available to all teachers and other adults supporting learning within schools and will demonstrate how cricket can be used to deliver high quality PE and school sport. Please note that places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Date:  Wednesday 13th February 2019
Venue: Ketts Park Community & Recreation Centre
Time: 9am to 1pm.
Cost: £40

Course Information

ECB Cricket For Secondary Teachers Course

This workshop is designed to help develop your confidence and equip you with the knowledge, understanding and applied skills to teach cricket within physical education and school sport. Over the duration of the course, you can expect to explore the following questions:

• What is cricket and what can it offer young people?
• What sort of skills can young people learn from cricket in physical education?
• How can I create safe, enjoyable and stimulating lessons using cricket?
• Which modified and competitive games can be played at key stages 3 and 4?
• What is the cricket network and how can my school be supported?

Teachers attending this course will also gain access to i-coach (see above for details).

Venue: Ketts Park Community & Recreation Centre
Time: 2pm to 6pm.
Cost: £40
