Topcroft Cricket Club
Topcroft CC have experienced significant growth over the past decade, both on and off the field. The club have an enthusiastic and hard working committee, and in recent years the club have installed a new Electronic Scorebox and with the help of the Norfolk Cricket Board, a double bay net facility. This year, the club have been fortunate to receive further assistance from the Norfolk Cricket Board by successfully receiving a grant through the ECB Machinery fund of £5000 to support the purchase of a new outfield mower.
Club Development Officer David Reeder said, "Being a long established Clubmark Accredited and Focus Club, we have enjoyed a close relationship with the Norfolk Cricket Board over many years and we are extremely grateful to Kieron Tuck and the ECB for their assistance with the fantastic grant we have recently received for our new outfield mower."
Topcroft CC have a well established youth set section and have enjoyed success at all levels in recent years in both Norfolk Cricket Alliance and National Competitions. The club runs teams at U10, U11, U13 and U15 levels. Last year the club started coaching sessions for 4 to 8 year olds and girls coaching, which have been a great success. The club already has good links with some local schools which they intend the grow further in the coming years.
