Lady Taverner's Under 13 outdoor competition details 2010
The Board are now able to confirm the arrangements for this year’s competition. With 8 teams having entered the plan is to hold both a North and South mini-festival with two qualifiers from each competing in a County final. The overall winners will then be invited to compete in the regional final which is being held at :-
Chigwell School, Essex from 10am to 4pm on Weds 11th August.
The proposed dates are as follows :-
North Festival for Bradfield CC, Swanton Morley CC, Cromer CC / Sheringham CC, Fakenham CC
Venue : Dereham Cricket Club, Norwich Road, Dereham, NR20 3AS
Date : Tuesday 27th July
Start time : 12.00 am
Finish time : 4pm
South Festival for Brooke CC, Lowestoft CC, Garboldisham CC, Topcroft CC
Venue : Garboldisham Cricket Club, The Langley, Harling Road.
Date : Monday 26th July
Start time : 12.00 am
Finish time : 4pm

Regional FinalVenue : Great Melton Cricket Club, Melton Park, Hall Road, Gt Melton, NR9 3BJ

Each festival will be run on a round robin basis with each team playing each other with a league table to determine the top two to progress to the County Final when the same format will apply to decide the County champions. This means each team will play three matches. There will be two pitches at each venue which will ensure continuity of the cricket and minimise any inactivity. I propose that matches are played over 12 over’s per innings which is the maximum permitted within the rules. The Board will supply match balls which are the junior size incrediball.
