Bradenham Cricket Club - Kwik Cricket festival

Bradenham Cricket Club - Kwik Cricket festivalBradenham Cricket Club recently hosted a Kwik Cricket festival on their ground at The Green with four schools invited to attend – Scarning Primary, Toftwood Junior, Dereham St Nicholas Junior and Ashill Primary all of whom have benefited from coaching offered by the Club during the summer term. The winners were decided on a round robin league basis with each school playing three games. With local rivalries and honour at stake all matches were very competitive with indeed one ending with the scores level and declared a tie. The eventual champions were Toftwood Junior who won two of their matches with the runners-up Scarning Primary.

Organiser Kevin Denmark said that event was a first for The Club and declared it a major success and hoped it would be repeated on an annual basis. The winners and runners up each received medals with Toftwood taking home the trophy. All players received a tee-shirt and certificate of participation
