DISTRICT

District

District cricket is designed primarily as a stepping stone for youth players, between the main County Age Group Teams and Club Youth Cricket. It is now a key way for the County to ensure that players with potential are spotted and nurtured, and offered every opportunity to ultimately play for their County.

There are four separate Districts in Norfolk: North, South, East and West and each runs it's own programme of winter coaching and fixtures. In addition to this there are pre and post season matches for the best of the Districts against their respective County counterparts, again to allow maximum opportunity for all to showcase their talents.

The Districts are also increasingly becoming involved in developing other areas of the game such as girls cricket, Young Leaders Awards, Groundsmanship and Coach Mentoring.

Please click on the District relevant to your geographical area to find out what is happening near you, and how to get in touch.
