U19 Club T20
Norfolk ECB U19 Club T20 Competition

The ECB U19 Club T20 was set up ahead of the 2015 season to help bridge the gap between junior age-group cricket and senior club cricket nationwide. The ECB produced a study which suggested that 50% of cricketers drop out of the game between the ages of 14-26 and this competition has been setup to help reduce this figure and keep players in the game.

The competition is designed to give the U19 players ownership of their own team including the day-to-day management of the team. They are encouraged to give out roles to the U19 players from sorting a team, arranging fixtures & grounds and other roles within the club in the hope that they will continue to volunteer beyond the U19 T20 Competition.
The competition runs off the back of the National ECB Vitality T20 Blast and clubs are encouraged to mimic this where possible to create a great Matchday Experience for all players involved. (Music, DJ, BBQ, Programme, Mascots, Pink Balls, Coloured Kit etc)
