Welfare
The ECB and Norfolk Cricket Board take Child Welfare issues very seriously. As a result, all clubs in Norfolk are required to appoint a Club Welfare Officer who is trained in Safeguarding and Protecting Children (SPC) and Time To Listen (TTL) which is the Cricket specific child welfare course. In addition to this, all club volunteers and coaches who come in to regular contact with children are required to undergo a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check. This also applies to all NCB volunteers and professional staff.
To assist with the monitoring and support of this area, the NCB have a County Welfare Officer who is the point of contact for all Welfare queries from clubs or County Age Groups. The Norfolk Welfare Officer is Jane Heyburn and you can contact Jane via email here. Please feel free to contact Jane with any queries that you may have.
Check this section for details on future Time to Listen Courses, plus the latest developments and announcements from ECB on Child Welfare.
Please note that CRB forms can now be obtained directly from TMG, who handle CRB checks for the ECB. You can order your forms online at www.tmgcrb.co.uk
