Women & Girls Cricket is expected to be one of the fastest growing sports in the UK over the next 5 years. As a result the NCB have placed a high priority on developing this area through activity in schools and clubs and at County Level.

in 2008 the Senior Women's team secured promotion to Division 4 of the LV County Championship, where they will play in 2009. The team will get more than double the funding that it received in 2008 to support it's fixture and coaching programme. They are now supported David Thomas, one of the County's best Level 3 coaches.

In addition to this the NCB run an U15 girls team and new for 2009, and U13 girls team. Details on these sides can be found within these pages.
