Women & Girls Cricket is expected to be one of the fastest growing sports in the UK over the next 5 years. As a result the NCB have placed a high priority on developing this area through activity in schools and clubs and at County Level.

2010 sees the Women's team play in the LV County Championship Division 5. The team gets significant funding from ECB and NCB to have comprehensive training and match programme. They are now supported David Thomas, one of the County's best Level 3 coaches.

In addition to this the NCB run girls teams at U13, U15 & U17 level, with the U17's being a new addition for 2010. Details on these sides can be found within these pages.
