Red Mist Cricket announces Autumn startup

Red Mist Cricket begins again for the winter in October and hence you will find downloadable here the application form for winter nets. Please download the sheet and, if interested, return it as instructed. Please fill in the email section as all confirmations will be via email. If you would like to pass on a copy to friends, please feel free.
We have approx. 250 places available and everyone will be limited to one place, group A or B. If there are any spaces for doing both sessions then I will contact those that show an interest by ticking the box. Places are available on a first come first serve basis, so an early reply is recommended.
I hope you have all had a successful summer and look forward to seeing you in the winter months on Sunday nights.

Boost for Old Buckenham Under-11's

Construction company Bluestone is supporting the under-11s cricket team at Old Buckenham Cricket Club, based at Old Buckenham and Attleborough, by sponsoring their new kit – in preparation for the start of this season’s under-11s South Norfolk Cricket League.
“We are delighted that Bluestone is sponsoring our cricket whites this year,” says Matt Mann, Old Buckenham’s under-11s team manager. “Besides being a great way for youngsters to keep fit and active, cricket is a great team sport and the whole squad is proud of their new team shirts which have installed a professional ethos into their playing spirit.”
Bluestone, which has local offices in Thorpe Road, Norwich, has its logo on the front of each of the youngsters’ shirts and the company’s work safe home safe branding on the back. “Bluestone’s work safe home safe health and safety initiative encourages everyone in the company to act responsibly and fully play their part in ensuring health and safety on our sites. It also encourages everyone to bring their family and team values to work and take pride in their work,” says Dave Bickel, Bluestone safety, health and environmental advisor. “We believe these are great messages to pass to the youngsters at the club. By sponsoring the team, they look and feel professional and we help to inspire in them the values of our work safe home safe messages.”
Key projects currently under construction by Bluestone locally include a £2.3 million scheme to build a new library and refurbish North Walsham High School, Norfolk; a £4.8 million project to build Dussindale Primary School, Norfolk, and a £9.4 million contract to build a new extension to Blyth Jex High School, Norfolk. Bluestone also completed a £2.1 million extension for Attleborough Community and Learning Centre in 2006.
