856 Foundation Mental Health Awareness Campaign – This Weekend (Sat 7th / Sun 8th June)

As many of you may already know, we are partnering up with the 8:56 Foundation to promote and support their #WearItGreen campaign this weekend which is taking place on Saturday 7th June and Sunday 8th June.

How to get involved?

We’re working with the 8:56 Foundation to encourage leagues, cricket clubs and cricketers to engage in the weekend and wear green socks during their matches over the weekend to help showcase and more importantly raise awareness for mental health.

Sunday 8th June – 8:56 Foundation XI vs Norfolk Cricket Foundation Invitational XI

  • Manor Park (Horsford CC)

  • T20 Fixture
  • BBQ, Bar, Raffle, Auction, Music

To conclude the weekend, we’re hosting an 8:56 Foundation XI at Manor Park on Sunday where we hope to further raise awareness for the #WearItGreen campaign and more importantly, raise money for this important cause.

  • Lot 1: Signed Chris Gayle Framed Shirt (certificate of authenticity included)
  • Lot 2: Signed England Men’s ODI Cricket Bat from England vs Pakistan 2021 (certificate of authenticity included)
  • Lot 3: Jack Russell Signed Limited Edition Print Bundle (Signed print of Trent Bridge, Castle Park and signed catalogue of his work)
  • Lot 4: Signed England Men’s Print from 2019 ICC Men’s World Cup (no certificate of authenticity included but donated by ECB)
  • Lot 5: Signed Norwich City Home Shirt from 2024/25 Season (no certificate of authenticity included but donated by NCFC)

All bids must be submitted by 3pm on Sunday 8th June. Bids to be emailed to auction@856.org.uk or submitted on the day at the game before 3pm. All proceeds go directly to the 8:56 Foundation Charity.
