The Norfolk Cricket Board exists to develop the game of cricket in Norfolk. Our ambition is to retain and increase participation across all pillars of the game.
The Cricket Board has a small workforce made up of a number of full-time, part-time, nil-hours and contracted workers. The operations of the NCB are overseen by the Cricket Development Director who works closely with the board of Directors to deliver an ambitious strategy.
The NCB remit covers all areas of the game including working closely with our 99 affiliated clubs, supporting open-age and junior leagues, delivering a comprehensive Norfolk county-age group programme, supporting volunteer development including coaches, officials and club volunteers, running comprehensive schools programme, overseeing ECB or local initiatives/competitions, disability cricket, safeguarding, welfare and much more!
The NCB work very closley with a number of partners including ECB, other County Cricket Boards, Active Norfolk, Sport England, Local Councils, Schools, Leagues, Clubs, Sponsors and more.
