
The NEW ECB Inspiring Generations 2 Strategy was launched in October 2024 and has taken effect as of 1st February 2025 and will run until 31st January 2029.
Their new strategy was published alongside focused action plans to remove barriers to entry to the sport and to drive equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) across cricket.
The second iteration of the Inspiring Generations strategy details the ECB’s vision of becoming the most inclusive team sport in England and Wales, whilst growing and uniting the game, and leading it through global transformation.

NEW Norfolk Cricket Foundation Strategy 2025-2028
In April 2025, the newly formed Norfolk Cricket Foundation (formally Norfolk Cricket Board) launched the new strategy ‘A Game for Everyone’. The strategy mission is to ‘Create a lasting, postive impact on the lives of individuals and communities in Norfolk through the power of cricket.’
The new strategy focuses upon two clear focus areas:
- Grow, Retain and Enhance the core of the game
- Use the Norfolk Cricket Foundation to deliver a range of projects and programmes.
These two focus areas will be underpinned by outstanding infrastructure that will underpin sustainable development for Norfolk Cricket Foundation.
