The Norfolk Cricket Board is fully committed to ensuring the highest standards of coaching across the county.
We guarantee this high standard of delivery through the Coach Education Programmes, coaching of County Age Groups, or support of coaches working at clubs and their ongoing development. NCB also has a thorough Workforce Plan in place to ensure that all areas of the Coaching (professional and volunteer) workforce are developed appropriately so that an excellent service can be delivered tailored to specific areas of need accommodating all clubs in Norfolk.
Our County wide workforce work closely with the NCB, NYC, ECB, First4Sport and clubs to ensure that service delivery is of a high standard and programmes are organised appropriate to the requirements within the County.
The NCB have a large pool of coaches that are used for coaching throughout the year. These events include CAG Trials/Coaching, Clubs, Schools Coaching (Primary & High School), Disability Coaching and more.
The NCB run ECB Coach Education courses every year run by our fully qualified tutors which enable people to become fully qualified coaches. These qualifications include Level II, Coach Support Worker & Activator Courses, Cricket for Teachers Courses and Skill Specific Courses.
