The trip will see the Young Lions play two Youth Tests, two Youth One-Day Internationals and one Youth International T20 Fixture over the period of January 18th through to February 21st.

Chris Brown “Having had success with Scotland’s spin bowlers at the last two ICC T20 World Cups, this appointment with the ECB came in November last year, and I’m delighted and honoured to be appointed spin coach for the Young Lions. The exposure of working in International environments will only benefit our pathway & EPP players further down the line.”
Lewis Denmark (Norfolk Cricket Development Director) commented “This is a great opportunity for Chris to further his coaching career and everyone at the Norfolk Cricket Board wishes Chris and the team well for the tour. Chris is a vastly experienced coach having already worked as an ECB Spin Consultant and in International settings with the Zimbabwe men’s setup and Scotland men’s setup in recent years. As a National County we are delighted that one of our coaches has been given the opportunity to coach with the Young England Lions, the knowledge and experience that he will gain from the trip will add significant value to the Norfolk Boys & Girl Pathway programme.”
Alun Powell (ECB National Talent Manager) “Chris has worked tirelessly over many years to gain experience of pathway coaching from his work with Norfolk Cricket, the ECB David English Bunbury Festival and Super 4s. His appointment to the Young Lions is an honour for both Chris and Norfolk Cricket, and he will be a great asset to the programme. We look forward to him growing his experience further and sharing his knowledge with the County Age Group and EPP players in Norfolk.”
