Clubs & Leagues Update – 5th April 2024
8th April 2024

Hi, I am now one month into my new role as Managing Director, Recreational Cricket and I wanted to take this opportunity to reach out to all of our clubs and leagues.
I am incredibly proud and privileged to have been asked to take this role on, especially at this moment for our sport. I truly believe cricket has an unprecedented opportunity in the next 4-5 years to grow our reach and relevance at core club level, and also to fulfil our social purpose and improve lives, especially those traditionally not touched by sport.
I am acutely aware of, and grateful for, the swathes of committed and passionate people who make our sport happen, week in, week out and I am genuinely excited about what we will be able to achieve together over the coming years.
With my best wishes for your final preparations for this season.
Leshia Hawkins
ECB, Managing Director, Recreational Cricket
