Back to County Norfolk Cricket runs a comprehensive Early Engagement Programme (EEP) for boys and girls aged 10–12, replacing the previous Development Hubs.
The EEP offers quality winter coaching and summer match play, providing more opportunities for young players to get involved in county cricket. The programme is designed to engage a wider range of participants than traditional county squads, with the hope that players can progress from the EEP into the County Age Group (CAG) programme which starts at Under 13’s for boys and girls.
The EEP aims to:
- Provide a fun, inclusive, and age-appropriate cricket experience.
- Broaden the talent base and strengthen links between clubs and the county pathway.
- Develop key cricketing skills.
- Inspire a lifelong love of the game.
