The Norfolk Cricket Board has created a strong link with the Norfolk County Cricket Club. Norfolk County Cricket Club is one of the county clubs which makes up the National Counties in the English domestic National Counties cricket structure.

The County Cricket Club provides an excellent destination for many of our Elite County Youth Cricketers, but also provides a perfect stepping stone for those destined to play First-Class Cricket.

Each year‚ Norfolk play in the National Counties Cricket Association (NCCA, formally Minor Counties) which includes 3-Day, One-Day and T20 competitions. Norfolk last won the One-Day Knockout Competition in 2009. Following a recent restructure to National Counties Cricket, Norfolk are currently in the National Counties A division for the 3-day competition.

Norfolk County Cricket Club was set up in 1827 and soon became known as being “second only to the Marylebone club”. After playing at the Colman’s Lakenham ground for nearly 125 years‚ Norfolk moved to Horsford’s beautiful Manor Park ground in 2001.

All Home One-Day and Championship matches are now played at Manor Park‚ Horsford‚ Norwich.
