DBS fees for Enhanced Checks from Monday 5 October 2026.
28th September 2026

DBS fees for Enhanced Checks from Monday 5 October 2026.
The main changes that will impact the cricket network are:
- Enhanced DBS Check: reduced from £49.50 to £41.00
- DBS Update Service: reduced from £16.00 to £15.00 per year
Please note: there is no change for volunteers. ECB will continue to fund volunteer DBS checks, so clubs and volunteers will not see any difference in the cost of volunteer applications.
The fee reduction will mainly benefit paid staff applications, where the lower DBS and Update Service fees will be applied from 5 October onwards.
Atlantic Data will update their system automatically, and the new charges will be reflected at the point of submission from the effective date.
