ECB Coach Education Courses 2021 – BOOK TODAY!

Norfolk Cricket Board are pleased to announce the ECB Coach Education programme for 2021. This document details the courses offered in 2021 and how to book your place.

Some courses are not yet available to book, but please contact our Coach Education Administrator Sara Worley at sara.worley@norfolkcricket.co.uk to register your interest.  Sara will then send booking details as soon as they are available. 

If you would like to take a course but cannot make the dates available, please get in touch. We require a minimum number of candidates to run a course but will try to add extra courses if there is sufficient demand. 

2021 ECB Coach Education Courses – Norfolk

• ECB Foundation 1 (Two Courses)
• ECB Coach Support Worker
• ECB Cricket Young Activator
• ECB Cricket for Teachers (Not running in 2021)

*Norfolk Cricket Board are not delivering any NEW ECB Level 2 Courses in 2021 as ECB are removing this course at the end of 2021*

ECB Foundation 1 Courses (£150 Per Person – Minimum Age 17/18)

ECB Foundation I Coach is a new coach development programme and qualification that has been created to help more people take their first steps into coaching cricket. This programme has been designed to give learners the knowledge, skills and confidence to coach cricket sessions that are active, purposeful, enjoyable and safe.

A qualified ECB Foundation I Coach will be able to lead coaching sessions independently and without supervision.

ECB Foundation I Course – Sunday Course   (COMPLETE)

ECB Foundation I Course – Tuesday Course (CANCELLED)

ECB Foundation I Course – October Course

• Saturday 9th October & Saturday 23rd October (10am – 5pm each week)

• Attendance each week required

ECB Coach Support Worker (£70 Per Person – Minimum Age 16)

The ECB Coach Support Worker course is suitable for anyone age 16+ looking either to help out at their local club or to start on the ECB Coaching pathway.

It is particularly aimed at those who are keen to assist the Lead Coach deliver junior sessions at their local club. The course will enable you to help in the delivery and organisation of games and training sessions. This vital role supports the coach in action and the development of players within the club environment.

ECB Cricket Young Activator Course (£40 Per Person – Minimum Age 14)

The ECB Cricket Activator course is an excellent first course for those aged 14-16 interested in cricket.

The playing of cricket will not happen without a lot of things, which are often hidden to people, being done. If you want to make cricket happen, in whatever capacity, this course is right for you, especially if you are a young person exploring various options of how you can support cricket and develop yourself personally.
