ECB Coach Education Courses 2022 – BOOK TODAY!

Norfolk Cricket Board are pleased to announce the ECB Coach Education programme for January – April 2022. This document details the courses offered in 2022 and how to book your place.

Some courses are not yet available to book, but please contact our Coach Education Administrator Sara Worley at sara.worley@norfolkcricket.co.uk to register your interest.  Sara will then send booking details as soon as they are available. 

If you would like to take a course but cannot make the dates available, please get in touch. We require a minimum number of candidates to run a course but will try to add extra courses if there is sufficient demand. 

2022 ECB Coach Education Courses – Norfolk

• ECB Support Coach (Courses TBC)
• ECB Foundation 1
• ECB Core Coach (NEW – Equivalent old Level 2)

ECB Support Coach Courses

This programme has been designed to give learners the knowledge, skills and confidence to support qualified coaches. An ECB Support Coach is not qualified to lead coaching sessions independently and therefore must be supervised by a qualified cricket coach.

• Cost £40 Per Candidate
• Minimum Age 16
• ECB DBS required for certification

ECB Foundation 1 Courses

NEXT COURSE LIKELY TO BE OCTOBER 2022 (To express an interest in this course please email Sara Worley at sara.worley@norfolkcricket.co.uk

A qualified ECB Foundation I Coach will be able to lead coaching sessions independently and without supervision. (Qualification DOES NOT allow the coach to run a net session or operate a bowling machine)

• Cost £150 Per Candidate
• Minimum Age 17 (Certificate not available until 18th birthday)
• Complusory ECB DBS Check required prior to course

ECB Core Coach Courses

NEXT COURSE LIKELY TO BE EARLY 2023 (To express an interest in this course please email Sara Worley at sara.worley@norfolkcricket.co.uk

The ECB Core Coach qualification is the equivalent of the old ECB Level 2 Qualification. A qualified ECB Core Coach will be able to lead coaching sessions independently and without supervision.

• Cost £300 Per Candidate
• Minimum Age 17 (Certificate not available until 18th birthday)
• Complusory ECB DBS Check required prior to course
