NEW CONTENT ON THE EDI CONTENT HUB

The EDI Content Hub is the game’s online resource sharing different lived experiences from a wide spectrum of EDI subjects. New content has recently been uploaded covering topics of Mental Health, Disability & Neurodiversity and Diversity & Inclusion.

Voices featuring in new content include ECB’s Shilly Pancholi talking about her journey through cricket and mental health, player Olivia Thomas talking about her autism, and Shivanie Patel sharing her experiences of coaching, co-founding an all-women cricket club and the Dream Big Desi Women programme.

The Hub can be accessed via the e-learning platform and via the link and login details below.

NEW CONTENT ON THE ECB BLOG

A number of new articles have been published on the ECB blog highlighting powerful stories and work being done across the game.

These include:

  • A piece about the work of the Family Spirit Child Care Centre in Uganda and charity Cricket Without Boundaries using cricket in HIV education, to mark World AIDS Day.
  • The story behind the Mulligan Club, a weekly male mental health support group hosted at Eckington Cricket Club in Derbyshire.
  • A reflection on Inter Faith Week (which ran 13-20 November) where figures from across the game shared their thoughts on what faith means to them, with the aim of helping to grow deeper understanding between people of different religious and non-religious beliefs.
  • A piece by Sue Benson, who made history as the first woman to compete in the Disability Premier League, reflecting on how cricket has played an important part in coping with her disability.

Please do continue to look out for new articles on the blog, hearing directly from different people across cricket about what we’re doing.

REVISIONS TO CONDUCT REGULATIONS

Following feedback from various parts of the game, ECB Board recently approved revisions to the 2022 General Conduct Regulations and have introduced a simpler form of regulations, Recreational Conduct Regulations, for some parts of the game in good time for the 2023 season.

Further information, including a Frequently Asked Questions page, will be posted on the ECB website in due course.
