Great Melton CC Need Your Help!

Great Melton Cricket Club have been selected as national finalists representing the Anglia region in the Persimmon Building Futures Competition.

Our application was shortlisted by Persimmon Anglia as a worthwhile cause, promoting sport and a healthy lifestyle for young people from the area. It was then selected by the Persimmon Charitable Foundation as one of the finalists representing the Anglia region.

It is great to get this far and to have our work recognised. All finalists receive £5,000 but we stand a chance of winning one of the top prizes of £100K, £50K or £20K. All we need to do is get more votes than the 31 other sports clubs across the country. We are the only cricket club to reach this stage of the competition.

Just click on the link below and then submit a vote every day between now and 19 November. You can even vote more than once in a day by using mobile data or connecting to a different Wifi. 

Any prize money we win will go towards our Pavilion Improvement Project to increase the facilities for women and girls (changing room, shower and 2 x additional WC); make improvements to the current clubroom and changing rooms and install heating via an air-source heat pump system – further information and the plans can be found on our website.
