MCC Community Cricket Heroes 2026

We’re looking to recognise and thank those who’ve gone the extra mile for community cricket. Nominate your unsung hero today for a chance for them to spend a day in hospitality at Lord’s this summer.

After three successful years in which 33 unsung heroes of grassroots cricket from across the country (and beyond) be rewarded by spending a match in hospitality at Lord’s, MCC is delighted to announce the return of its Community Cricket Heroes programme.

We’re looking for individuals who make a positive difference through grassroots and community cricket. That might be a volunteer who consistently goes the extra mile, a coach inspiring people on and off the pitch, a player who has overcome real adversity to stay involved in the game, or simply someone who has given years of quiet, dedicated service to their club or community.

The winners will be invited to spend a day in hospitality at Lord’s for a day of the England v Pakistan Men’s Test match.

The deadline for nominations is 23.59pm (BST) on Wednesday 15 July.

Guidance for Entry:

• Nominations must have made an outstanding contribution to the grassroots game and their local cricket community.  Please explain how your nominated person has done this in your entry.
• Entries are limited to one nomination per person and the person you are nominating must be over 18.
• Nominations must be submitted by 11.59pm on Wednesday 15 July. Winners will be announced shortly afterwards.
