NCB Safeguarding Seminars 2022

Dear Club Safeguarding Officer

As we head into September, I hope you have all enjoyed a good season which is now sadly drawing to a close although I am sure we will all remember the weather with barely any matches ‘rained’ off and also a largely ‘COVID’ free summer. A huge thank you from the County Safeguarding team for all the sterling work you all undertake in keeping Cricket as a safe environment in Norfolk. As a team we have received several queries and safeguarding reports this year which is good although thankfully nothing major – don’t forget that we are always available to field any questions or queries you may have.

Mark Campbell and I would like to invite you all to either of two evenings we are planning to run which will present an opportunity to meet the NCB Safeguarding team. These will be very informal evenings which will start off with a buffet as a thank you for all your hard work and then present opportunities for:

  • NCB review of the season and update any current issues
  • You to bring any cases you want to discuss (whilst retaining confidentiality)
  • A general Q & A
  • The opportunity to meet and speak to other Club Safeguarding Officers
  • AOB
