NCF Mid/Late Season Renovation Grounds Seminar – Tuesday 4th August 2026

The Norfolk Cricket Foundation are running a mid/late season FREE Grounds Seminar next Tuesday following the conclusion of the Norfolk Men’s festival fixture between Norfolk CCC and Cumbria CCC at Sprowston CC.

The event is free to all Norfolk grounds staff and will take place on the wicket used following the conclusion of the festival match. Why not come along to watch the end of the cricket and stay for the free grounds seminar which will be led by Norfolk Cricket Pitch Advisors and the Grounds Management Association (GMA) Regional Pitch Advisor, Phil Jeggo?

Invited: All club groundstaff and volunteers

Led by Norfolk Pitch Advisors and GMA Regional Pitch Advisor (Phil Jeggo)

The evening is completely free and will focus on the following:

• Pitch preparation whilst in a drought.
• Watering cricket pitches whilst under temporary use ban (hosepipe ban).
• Pitch end repairs.
• Any other club queries/questions.
• Planning for end of season renovations.
