These skills will complement our existing board by ensuring we are representing young people in our work.”
Lewis Denmark, NCB Cricket Development Director, said: “I look forward to working with Neil in his new non-executive role for the board. Engaging Children and Young People is a key strategic focus for both the ECB and NCB and I have no doubt that Neil will bring good support and assistance from his professional background to this area as we strive to make cricket as inclusive as it possibly can be within Norfolk.”
Neil Moggan said: “’I am delighted to join the Norfolk Cricket Board. I am passionate about transforming children’s life chances and cricket can be a fantastic vehicle to do that. It is an important time for the sport in view of the Independent Commission for Equity in Cricket (ICEC) report. We need to make cricket more inclusive and engaging for all young people.
“I am looking forward to supporting Lewis, his team and all the board so that as many children as possible can benefit from our great game throughout Norfolk.”
