NRCA Executive Committee Positions

The Norfolk Recreational Cricket Association (NRCA) Interim Committee will be replaced at the inaugural Annual General Meeting by a new Executive Committee who will be responsible for the effective running of the new league. Following documentation sent to club officials following the season, the NRCA have had expressions of interest for a number of roles on the Executive Committee, however, there continues to be several vacant positions which still need to be filled.

Therefore, the NRCA would encourage anyone who wishes to be considered for any of the vacant positions listed below to come forward by noon on Monday 25th October.

  • Adult Competitions Organiser
    • Responsible for creating annual fixtures, managing inputted results and scorecards on Play-Cricket. The role will work closely in liaison with the Administrator and Website Manager to ensure the smooth running of NRCA open-age competitions.
  • Discipline Officer
    • Responsible for overseeing Discipline across all NRCA junior and open-age competitions with the support of divisional managers. The position holder will have a relationship with the Board Director responsible for discipline and the Safeguarding Officer where applicable.
  • Loans Officer
    • Responsible for managing the loans process; brokering loan player arrangements between clubs whilst ensuring adherence to regulations. Liaise with registration officer.
  • Registrations Officer
    • Responsible for verifying all initial player registrations entered by clubs before April 30th 2022. Thereafter, to oversee all player registrations and transfers. Liaise with loans officer.
  • Website Manager
    • To oversee the maintenance of the Play-Cricket website, liaising as necessary with the Administrator, Competitions’ Organisers and the Registration Manager.

The NRCA would encourage you to distribute news of the available opportunities on the Executive Committee amongst your club officials and players to enable the vacant positions to be shared as widely as possible.
