Disability Cricket

The Norfolk Cricket Board is committed to catering and providing oppurtunities for all abilities to get involved with cricket through playing or volunteering.

Everyone is equal and everyone can play. The provision of disability cricket has gone from strength to strength in Norfolk since it commenced in 2010. The NCB pride themselves in working with many Schools, Special Schools and Community Day Centres/Hubs providing training and competitions for all.

We devote time and effort into making the experience as best as it possibly can be, ensuring everyone leaves with a smile on their face. The NCB have benefitted greatly from the additional funding provided by Sport England, Lord’s Taverners & Chance to Shine which has increased delivery in schools, community day hubs/centres and more and in recent years has also partnered with the Special Olympics group to widen it’s offer further.

Take a look at the video below which showcases the impact disability cricket delivery can have on some many individuals life. Looking for the ability, not the disability.

Please see further information from the 3 mains supporters of Disability Cricket in Norfolk, who allow the NCB Coaches the opportunities to positively affect lives in school, day centres and community hubs.
