Back to Women & Girls Shell Women’s Indoor Cricket League
The Norfolk Cricket Board (NCB) have run a thriving Women’s Indoor Cricket league. The league is now in its 9th year and each year it has expanded. The NCB strive to work closely with the Women to create an offer for them, allowing new Women to the game and continuing to develop the skills of the existing Women.
The most recent league saw the the 10-week competition played at Long Stratton Leisure Centre saw 6 Ladies teams battle it out for the Shell Women’s Indoor league Trophy.
The following teams all took part in the competition. Old Buckenham, Swardeston, Hethersett & Tas Valley, Great Melton, Brooke, and Topcroft. The format that has been very popular and well received amongst the ladies, allowing games to be completed in just over an hour making a fun, fast and enjoyable experience for players and spectators.
The 2024 competition took place at Long Stratton in 2024 with Old Buckenham coming out as winners.
