Thank you for delivering the 2024 cricket season in Norfolk!

As clubs wrap up a fantastic summer of cricket, the Close of Play is a chance to thank all the volunteers and players who have supported another successful season in Norfolk

On behalf of the Norfolk Cricket Board Directors and Executive Staff, we would like to thank each and every volunteer, official, player, coach, spectator and everyone else that made cricket possible in Norfolk this summer.

We now encourage you to take the time to thank volunteers at your local cricket clubs!

• Whether it’s an in-person event or a text message, saying thank you goes a long way. In fact, did you know that one of the top reasons people stop volunteering is because they feel undervalued?

• The Close of Play provides the perfect opportunity to show your volunteers just how important they are to everything you do, and to sow the seeds of excitement for next season.
