Thetford Town CC looking for support with their 12-hour fundraising match

Thetford Town CC are looking for teams/players to help support them with their community fundraising 12-hour long cricket match on Sunday 12th July 2026 as part of their Project 100 fundraising scheme which is aiming to raise 100k to develop the facilities at the cricket club in Thetford.

They are looking for teams of up to 8 players to come along and take part for however long they can. Teams do not need to commit to the full 12 hours. They can play for as little as 30 minutes, an hour or a few hours and simply get sponsored for the time they take part.

The day is all about bringing the cricket community together while raising money for our new training nets and improved community facilities. It will be a relaxed softball format, so clubs of all abilities are welcome, and it’s designed to be fun rather than competitive.

Whether it’s senior players, women’s teams, juniors (where appropriate), parents, volunteers or social members, everyone is welcome. Throughout the day the club also have music, food, a bar, raffle, stalls and plenty happening away from the cricket, making it a fantastic community event.
