Young Leaders in Cricket Course in back in 2025!
Volunteers are the heartbeat of recreational cricket and we know how important they are for cricket clubs delivering programmes and remaining sustainable. Norfolk Cricket Board are looking to partner up with a programme called Young Leaders in Cricket which is aimed at getting 13–17-year-olds involved in a Leadership and Volunteering programme.
Following completion of the course, we hope that the players will actively volunteer at their club once the programme has finished. (“A comprehensive and engaging programme made up of 6 modules which embody leadership and associated life skills”)
- Young Activators (Coaching)
- Officiating (Umpiring/Scoring)
- Grounds Maintenance

It is planned that the course modules will take place during the school holidays (Easter and June half-term). The course will be delivered by accredited trainers the ECB/ACO/CGA/and a first aid training provider. There is a subscription of £70 to join the programme per participant to cover the cost of the course delivery and administration, all professional time to deliver the programme is donated voluntarily.
