Youth Indoor Leagues Expression of Interest – Winter 23/24

Dear Club Youth Contacts,

This winter we have run some pilot youth indoor leagues around the Norwich area.

• U16’s @ Langley Prep School –  6 teams competed  won by Hethersett and Tass Valley
• U14’s @ UEA – 5 teams competing
• U12’s @ UEA – 5 teams competing

These we believe have been well received.  We will run these leagues again next winter, but would like to take the leagues further afield. 

We are considering running Leagues in the South and West of the county but would need demand to make this happen.   I know this is along way off, but to book venues we would need to start marking enquiries soon.  

Can I please ask all Clubs to stick theirs hands up if they would be interested in entering a South or West Youth Indoor league in any of the at the following age groups.

• U12 Softball
• U14 Hardball
• U16 Hardball

I would intend to run the Leagues on weeknights so as not to interfere with weekend winter sports. It would be pairs cricket, same as the senior indoor leagues. Potential venues would be Lynn Sports and Thetford Leisure Centre.

I would like responses back by the 28^th February please, then we can decide whether to move forward or not.
